Important to know:

  • Appointment fees are required to be paid in full upon arrival for your appointment (or via phone before commencing a telehealth appointment)
  • A fee of $110 applies for non-attendance or late cancellations (within 2 business days of the appointment).  Payment is required before further appointments can be booked
  • A non-refundable deposit of $110 is required for initial appointments.  This is to be paid at the time of booking and will be credited towards the first appointment attended (or towards a non-attendance/late cancellation fee if applicable)

 Medicare funding

Medicare rebates may be accessible via the ‘Better Access scheme’ if a valid Mental Health Care Plan referral is received from your GP, psychiatrist or pediatrician.  Rebates are processed after you attend each of your eligible psychology appointments.   There are two tiers of rebates, with a higher rebate becoming available after your out-of-pocket expenses during a calendar year pass your Medicare Safety Net threshold.

 Private Health funding

Private Healthcare rebates may apply, depending on your cover, and would need to be applied for directly through your insurer.  Item numbers/codes most commonly used are ‘I04’, ‘S04’, or ‘200’ or ‘300’.  Most insurers do not provide rebates when Medicare rebates have already been accessed.

 NDIS funding

Reimbursement of appointment fees from NDIS funding may be possible for those with self-managed funding, or with plan-managed funding. Fees for all sessions are set as per NDIA limits for plan-managed participants, and are equivalent for self-managing participants (i.e. $244.22 as at July 2024)

Coaching/Therapy

$180 – 60 minute session

Medicare Rebate available with Mental Health Care Plan (obtained from GP)

NDIS funding may potentially be used to cover fees for services delivered to individuals with self-managed funding, or with plan-managed funding.

Private Healthcare rebates need to be applied for by you with your insurer.
